Auchan Hungary has launched an innovative local supplier initiative in Debrecen, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized producers in Eastern Hungary. The programme, supported by the National Agricultural Chamber, seeks to increase local supplier procurement by a factor of 6-8, from currently around 300 million HUF per store.
