Two leading French retail brands are launching innovative designer collaborations that will reshape the fashion market. Monoprix is partnering with Spanish label La Veste for a vintage-inspired collection of women’s and children’s fashion, while La Redoute has invited seven renowned designers to reinterpret classic garments. Special attention is given to innovative pieces like Christine Phung’s reversible coat and Dawei Sun’s denim motorcycle jacket, which push the boundaries of functional fashion. These collections, planned for launch in September and October, promise a refined mix of creativity and practical fashion for autumn 2025.

Monoprix and La Veste: A Vintage Collection

Monoprix will develop a capsule collection with the Spanish brand La Veste, founded by Maria de la Orden and Blanca Miro. The collection will feature a vintage and colourful assortment including striped trousers, blouses with XXL collars, scalloped jackets, and accessories with gingham prints, available for both women and children [1]. The collection will be made available from 15 October via the online shop and in selected stores [1].

La Redoute: Seven Designers Reinterpret Classics

La Redoute has invited seven renowned designers to redefine classic garments for the autumn-winter season 2025. Notable designers include Christine Phung, who created a reversible coat with a removable wool lining, and Dawei Sun, who designed a denim motorcycle jacket [1]. The collection will be launched on 24 September with prices ranging between 129 and 249 euros [1].

Innovative Designer Collaborations

Both retail brands demonstrate their creative strategy by inviting prominent designers to breathe new life into their collections. The collaboration illustrates the trend of fashion platforms expanding their creative boundaries by working with talented designers [1].
